In a neighbourhood of Copenhagen where youth disorder is a recognised problem, a local initiative has given young people the possiblity to stay off the streets in the evenings. The initiative is called Resource Center Outer Nørrebro, and it’s goal is to attract young people in the age between 13 and 18, but the center also attracts some over 18. A café, football games, Playstations, help for homework and dance lessons and are some of the activities the young people have join for free.

The center got was grated a sum of money from the Copenhagen state, but rely on the more then 100 volunteers that help out from one hour to five days per week. RCON is the only one of it’s kind in Copenhagen.
